2024 Post Race Update<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The staff at Hope of Glory Ministries would like to thank you for supporting us in our 18th Annual Good Samaritan 5K and Greenville\u2019s Annual Cross Training 5K, in partnership with CrossFit Greenville<\/a>! Your participation was a blessing to our staff and the many families we serve.<\/p>\n

Together, we were able to raise over $17,000 that will help us in our mission to relieve burdens, empower families and proclaim Christ throughout our community! This event was accomplished by God\u2019s grace, the hard work of our staff and many participants like yourself!<\/p>\n

On race day, we had 160 participants between the 5K Run, Cross Training 5K, and Walk, along with about 35 volunteers to help man the course! We enjoyed a beautiful day and were encouraged by the many people who came out to support this event.\u00a0 We had a day of fun and fellowship with friends, both old and new!<\/p>\n

Various businesses contributed gifts for top finisher prizes at our UBE Post Race Party.\u00a0 The value of the race gifts-in-kind was estimated at over $7,000.00.\u00a0 Also on race day, anyone who brought five toiletry or household items for our co-op program received a complimentary gift card to Bake My Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Get excited as our 19th Annual Ministry Fundraiser<\/strong> offers Greenville their 11th Annual Cross Training 5K Race!!\u00a0 Hope of Glory and CrossFit Greenville<\/a> are proud to continue the challenging Cross Training 5K to benefit families throughout Pitt County. Please join us as we blend our Annual 5K race with Cross Training exercises into a beautiful course beginning at Uptown Greenville, towards the Town Common and back up 5th Street, running by East Carolina University.<\/p>\n

GO Pirates!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Our race offers the option to runners to run a regular 5K, for families to walk a 5K together, or those who like to step up their fitness level can participate in the 6 cross training stations guided by coaches from CrossFit Greenville.\u00a0 These stations are placed throughout the 5K run and require a completion of specific exercises with multiple repetitions. Any weight exercises will be adjusted based on fitness level and weight requirements. Heats will be used to separate beginner, intermediate, and advance cross training levels.<\/p>\n
